Announcing ‘Virtual Internship’ for legal research, writing, and activism
India Justice Foundation invites applications from committed, socially conscious law students to work in the area of legal research, writing, activism and individual research projects.
You must have a great zeal and passionate towards activism, social work, and accessible and affordable legal services to the marginalised. While preference will be given to the third-year undergraduate students, first or second-year students with a great flair for writing and research can apply. An intern will have to apply at least 2 months in advance of the proposed date of work, providing all relevant information as stated below.
Responsibilities
The shortlisted candidate would have the following tasks primarily –
- Legal research – Assist with legal research on case laws, data collection, and analysis.
- Content writing – You will be asked to write articles on a wide array of topics. These would be articles, blog posts of about 750 to 1000 words. These articles would be published on our social media handles. (the articles should not be plagiarised and should be an original work of the writer) On a weekly basis, you would be given a set of articles that have to be completed that you can do as per your pace but you have to submit them on the dates that you have agreed upon with your supervisor. (unnecessary delay and poor quality of articles could lead in termination of your internship)
- Legal Awareness Campaigns on Social Media – Promote our legal awareness campaigns and projects on social media.
Eligibility for the Internship
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Proficiency in using Canva.com, Google Docs, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter.

Period:
